Instagram's latest update prompts users to leave the app permanently

Since the beginning of the week, Instagram has been putting forward a new interface for users. This is heavily inspired by TikTok by displaying photos and videos in full-screen mode. The problem is that this significantly slows down the app's mobility, which has not failed to anger Internet users.

In addition to this size defect, this new design can also reduce image quality. If the latter is posted at a width-to-height ratio of 16:9, large sets of colors fill the void on the screen, giving a somewhat unpleasant result. Another user commented: "The new Instagram interface is great because it's hard to navigate, but it also looks bad."
for some users, many of them declare that they no longer want to go back to the app, or even want to delete their accounts.
According to a tweet by Gessifer: "I think the new Instagram update has healed my obsession by staring at things on Instagram for hours in a row."
